Do you agree or disagree with the following statement…?
Data quality is critically compromised when double-barreled questions/statements are used in market research surveys and researchers who write them into their surveys should be shot.
Agree that double-barreled questions cause data problems – or more specifically data interpretation problems. Also agree that good researchers should know better.
Shooting the offenders might be a bit extreme, though.

Agree. A good researcher would (or should) know better.

Ubu.roi – LOL.
Deborah – Indeed!
Ed – You’re right; the problem is one of interpretation. P.S You’re only allowed to agree or disagree. Full stop.
: P
Di – Quite! To make my double-barreled point! ; )

LOL, I love this. (And I agree with the statement, as long as we can shoot them in the leg or something. Nothing fatal.)

Is shooting the only option? death by survey taking might be better.
